Apple's popular urBeats3 earphones are on sale at a whopping 33 percent off
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
Apple's Beats Electronics subsidiary is back in the limelight with the announcement of the $250 totally wireless Powerbeats Pro earbuds, but if you can't afford those bad boys or the $159 and up refreshed AirPods, the Dre-founded company has a number of older options you may want to consider... at the right price.
After discounting the (not totally) wireless Powerbeats3 by up to a whopping 70 percent in certified refurbished condition just last week, Best Buy is now selling new units of the totally not wireless urBeats3 earphones at $39.99 a pair. These good old fashioned wired mobile device accessories are typically available for $59.99, which means you're looking at a cool $20 in savings today (and today only).
Unlike the somewhat overpriced Powerbeats3, which seem to be constantly marked down by a larger or smaller degree, we've rarely seen such solid deals offered on the urBeats3 of late. Mind you, we're talking about a massive discount of around 33 percent, available in an assortment of colors for both Lightning-supporting and traditional 3.5 mm plug-carrying variants.
If you own an ancient iPhone with a headphone jack or an Android handset capable of physically pairing to these relatively straightforward earphones, you can choose between standard black and "defiant black-red" models of the urBeats3. Meanwhile, those of you who don't have a problem using their iPhone's Lightning connector to listen to music can go for a black, blue, yellow, or coral paint job.
Either way, you don't get a very complex set of features or an incredibly original design. But the urBeats3 are arguably sleek, lightweight, and convenient enough to justify their reduced $39.99 price, also promising an "exceptional listening experience", optimized sound output, optimal ergonomic fit, as well as advanced RemoteTalk functionality allowing you to answer voice calls and activate Siri by pushing a button.
