Amazon's cheap Fire 7, Fire HD 8, and Fire HD 10 tablets are even cheaper right now
According to the latest global market report, Amazon's ultra-affordable Fire tablets didn't have the best of quarters to kick off 2019, lagging behind the likes of Apple and Huawei in terms of both actual sales numbers and growth. Of course, the e-commerce giant is still doing what it does best, once again discounting the Fire 7, Fire HD 8, and Fire HD 10 to insanely low prices for a limited time.
These Mother's Day deals, offered in conjunction with some substantial savings on Alexa-powered Echo devices, are essentially a repeat of a few killer promotions from several months ago. Just like back in February, the entry-level Amazon Fire 7 slate is sold at $10 off, which may not sound like a lot... until you realize that's a whole fifth of the 7-incher's full list price. In other words, the 8GB tablet with a compact 1024 x 600 screen, 8-hour battery life, and VGA front-facing camera is available at a solid 20 percent discount right now.
The larger and sharper Fire HD 8, meanwhile, can be purchased for 20 bucks less than usual in both 16 and 32 gig configurations, equating to 25 and 18 percent markdowns respectively. The 8-incher comes with an HD display (duh) sporting 1280 x 800 resolution, as well as up to 10 hours of endurance between charges, both a 2MP rear and 2MP front shooter, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos audio enhancements.
Last but certainly not least, the Fire HD 10 is up for grabs at the time of this writing at $30 off with your choice of 32 or 64 gigs of internal storage space, which is actually a smaller discount than the one offered just a few weeks back at Best Buy. Speaking of, the third-party retailer has these exact same deals going on right now, which is... pretty cool if you have something against shopping directly through Amazon.
