ZTE's new Tempo X for Boost is the most affordable Nougat phone with removable battery
Tempo phone it released last year, the second largest non-contract smartphone supplier in the US - ZTE - is now launching the upgraded Tempo X. The screen has grown to 5 inches this time, from 4.5" in the Tempo, but the X is still a very manageable compact handset.
"Everything you need at a price you can afford" is ZTE's moto for the X, which made us look at the surprisingly low $79.99 price. Needless to say, you only get the basics at this tag - a quad-core chipset, 5 MP camera on the rear and 2 MP camera up front, a gig of RAM and 8 GB of storage - but the handset comes with the latest Android Nougat update, LTE connectivity, and is powered by a hearty for the specs 2200 mAh battery.
