Xiaomi Mi MIX sets company record by selling out its first flash sale in just 10 seconds
This morning, it took just 10 seconds for the Xiaomi Mi MIX to completely sell out during the phone's first flash sale. This way, it has become Xiaomi's fastest selling phone.... however, the exact number of phones sold hasn't been disclosed. In a scenario where Xiaomi had a relatively small batch of units to sell, we can imagine it could have easily reached such a 'record' for sell-out speed, without actually selling a meaningful number of phones. The previous record for sell-out speed was set just the other day when all versions of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 were snatched up in 50 seconds. Again, the exact number of devices sold is unknown.
The versions of the Mi MIX snatched up included the Standard Edition with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This unit was sold for the equivalent of $520 USD. The Exclusive Edition, with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage, was also sold out. The latter was priced at the equivalent of $590 USD.
