Windows Mobile 6.5.3 update nearing for the Samsung Omnia II?
Back towards the end of April, we reported on how there was a Windows Mobile 6.5.3 update heading to the Samsung Omnia II some time in May, but now it looks more telling that we're getting closer to that eventual release. According to HDBlog.it, we are just about on the heels of the release of the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 ROM update as there have been numerous official beta ROMs that have been leaked. In addition to sporting the latest version of the platform, it brings forth some improved gesture improvement, speed improvements, and comes packed with the full arsenal of Samsung software. Although the slow adoption of Windows Mobile 6.5.3 might be a bit lagging for other devices, it's nice to see that one of the current big names in the Windows Mobile world is getting some much needed attention in bringing it up to speed quickly with the most up-to-date edition of the platform.
