What's your favorite new iPhone 6s feature?

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus may look a lot like last year's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but they bring plenty of new features that will most likely keep Apple fans happy until the iPhone 7 series is introduced (probably sometime in the second half of 2016).

While you can check out this article to take a look at all the new features that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are offering, we're still going to quickly mention the most important of them here: 3D Touch (which evolved from Force Touch, and has the potential of changing the way we interact with smartphones, at least to some extent), a stronger body (based on a 7000 series aluminum alloy), 12 MP rear camera with 4K video recording, 5 MP front-facing camera with Retina Flash, always on Siri, a faster chipset (A9), and 2 GB of RAM. Do you have a favorite new iPhone 6s feature? If you do, feel free to vote for it in our poll below!

In case you haven't find out, as of today, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus can be pre-ordered in the US and various other markets. However, the handsets won't be launched until September 25.

I think 3D Touch is the best feature since Touch ID.

What's more is that they used the invention to add useful features to the phone, unlike huawei who just did it for the fun of 'inventing'

Exactly. It's not about who does it first, it's about who does it the best.

btw, huawei only made it avialable for 128gb version, which is never appear to be ready sell after 2 + month. they just wana announce it before apple did to grab the attention.

Yesterday I made a joke with one colleague of mine iPhone fan, showing him that my android phone have force touch. Pressing hard on the screen on many tasks. (of course it just enable the long press only). And he was chocked. LOL P.S. BTW Android had it fist , and only developers can apply it on their apps if just dig into API, if apple propaganda make it popular. No need Android OEMs to "copy" this BS in this case.

android API for pressure touch is already there since long time ago, android also support air-view (like in galaxy S5).. Google and other OEM need to add these functionality on stock application, before apple start to reinvent again

The "who did it first" thing is just to shine a light on hypocrisy.

Well said - Samsung used to do that also, but they matured over time.

IMO its the best upgrade at of all the S models from Apple I'm really disappointed its not in the iPad Pro Means that the iPad Pro is already outdated day one

Kinda like how when the 5s had Touch ID and the iPad Air didn't. They'll probably add it next year because I'm guessing they didn't have enough sensors for the iPhone and the iPad.

No, it's because that's their upgrade path for next year. It's always about the money.

Its also safer - imagine if 5s and all the other ipads had introduced Touch ID at the same time - and then Touch ID turned out to have some issues or bugs. A disaster like that would hurt the company severely. So I think that's ONE OF the reasons why the do phased roll-out of a feature which you know is gonna be on all the other devices eventually. And most buyers are so hyped up they wont really realize that they are buying an already outdated product from day one ( I do agree with vincelongman's statement there).

No no. If 3D touch is not on their most professional tablet that Adobe and Microsoft endorse, then all it means is that 3D touch is the amateur hour or rookie gimmick feature most of us see it as. If it was called the iPad amateur then it would have 3D touch. Since it's called the iPad pro they have no choice but to leave that s**t out.

I think the more logical explanation is that 3D Touch is a all new tech, with relativelly low yields, because it was never made before. It also makes devices thicker and possibly significally heavier. It also requires new kind of custom designed glass and the TapTic engine to make the experience more complete. It was just too pricey to implement it on something like a 12,9" display not even talking about added weight and thickness.

Bet on that every average iJoe will be confused of this Force-Touch-BS, and will search how to disable it. Most of them don't use Siri too.

I would say 2 gigs of ram, but it's unconfirmed. I'll go with 3D touch, it's pretty sweet. Who's ready for iOS 9 iPad version?

I am. Are you going to get the 6S/iPad Pro?

6S Plus 50/50 chance. iPad Pro 0.00000% chance. I sold my Mini 2, and bough the Air 2. Same question to you.

Sorry for butting in, but: Until the announcement I was almost certainly going for the Plus, but I'm disappointed that they didn't include any new phablet features like side-by-side apps, multi-window, or PiP. I preordered a 64GB 6s at T-Mobile today, I'm a much bigger fan of the size vs. the Plus. The only downside for me to the 6s is the resolution. I wish they had crammed a 1080p screen in it this time around.

The lack of pic n pic, slide over, and split view are my biggest peeves with it. Hope the 2 gigs of ram are there. I think the lack of extra RAM was one of the biggest reasons iOS 8 perform so bad from the stability standpoint, at least in my experience.

i'm just curious, what is the use of split-view, PiP on a 5.5" device? i've used a Galaxy Note, but never use it, it's just too small, it's ant-size font, etc. i could use it on the iPad or even better the iPad Pro, but not on the phablet territory.

I don't want, or mean to sound rude but, you purchase your phone for your needs/wants, and so do I. No need to explain myself, when your response won't affect my decision to purchase or not. We want what we want.

I'm not getting the Pro since I have my Air 2 and I don't know about the 6S. I'm good with my Note 5 and iPhone 6.
