What color do you prefer on the face of a red smartphone?

So, earlier this year, Apple introduced the Product Red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus — beautiful red handsets with a silver Apple logo and... a white front. This isn't the first time we see a blood-red phone with a white face — last time, it was the Flame Red Meizu Pro 6, which is, admittedly, much less-known than Apple's flagship.

In any case, when both phones were announced, there was an overwhelming reaction of “but why the white face?”, with users insisting that a handset with a screaming red back would look much sleeker if its face was black. Not a terrible notion, we thought, but the manufacturers probably know what they are doing... right?

We thought we'd ask you — in what face combo would a red phone look best to you?

What color front do you prefer on a red smartphone?

White is fine
Just paint it all red, why make it different colors?

I think In general companies should not care what users thinks not even a bit . They should make a product that they love to work with everyday. and I didn't get why for example the designer of pixel wanted help from ppl for the next design of the pixel.

Companies should care what the users think because they are the one's buying the phone. If they don't care what the users think, then the users will leave and the company won't be making money. The designer of the pixel wanted people's help because it help them to determine the best design that people want for their phones.

It's so unfortunate that Apple colors are determined by back cover. I think the color of the phone should be determined by the front not back because that's what I see/look at every day or now and then.

I don't mind white, but I would say that it depends on the design of the phone.

If it were red and black though it would be too easy for Verizon to sue for trademark infringement or something...lol.

The U11 dark blue is pretty awesome. Also the S8's orchid gray

Black or red. White front looks odd to me unless the back color is light.

When phones were smaller, liek when I bought my GS3, iPhone 4/4S, I always got white because white just look cool and because everythign else was mostly black. It was cool to have white phone, white matching chargers and headphones. But then phones got really big and white just looks ugly on a big phone. So happy Samsung had drop white from its portfolio and Apple has too. I think 2 tone colors are the best. I think the way Appel does the color combo is cool, because the front color is dicatated by the back color. So the white from with rose gold certainly looks cooler than a white front with a black back. The present S8's look great in black with a different color back. The S7 and Note 7 looked ok with a matching color bezel and with the gold sides. But the S8 with the Chrome sides look even better. HTC's new shiny blue is pretty, but Samsung kinda did that shiny thing first, and i think shiny isnt the best way forward. Shiny doesn't hide fingerprints that well vs darker colors

All red. It looks silly like this. Black is nice too

I wouldn't get a Red device like that... and I used to like Black front which avoids distractions from the screen, however my all Platinum device is very pleasing to me and goes very well with my silver Magnesium laptop

I prefer black, but at the same time I wish for that metallic silver color (like in the new honor 9)

I prefer all red on phones with a red back, but I would accept a white front, never black. Black is a deal breaker for me. Don't know why, I just like light or bright in everything, never dark grey, charcoal or black, same for cars, clothes or anything. Dark or black I equate with dull.

I never really cared about the white front, it shows all the ports and holes and it never looked appealing to me. Either go with black or make the phone the same color on both sides. Even better, do something like Motorola did and let each buyer choose their own custom color combinations.
