When it comes to wallpapers, more is simply better. Whether you're talking about freedom of choice or the sheer size of the wall, we ourselves can't seem to say no. And what we stumble upon, we filter, leaving us with some great shots that have your super high-end, Quad HD smartphone's name on them. And since sharing is caring, we share.

Of course, if yours happens to be a more standard, 1080 x 1920 or 720 x 1280 resolution smartphone, you can still make good use of these. Sure, the screen won't visualize all the detail a higher-end one would, but the very process of down-sampling yields some benefits in terms of image clarity. So a native, 1080p wallpaper will look slightly worse when compared to a down-sampled, 5K one. And if you thought 5K is a lot, one of the wallpapers on today's list is a humongous, 7360 x 4912 pixel beast. That's 36 megapixels!

With that in mind, don't be surprised that the walls in the below slideshow have been re-sized in order to save you both time and bandwidth. 11 and 15 are awesome. Really love 15, reminds me of Walter Mitty, one of my favorite movies of all time.
