Vivo V5 specs leak; both V5 and V5 Plus to feature 20MP selfie snapper

What appears to be promotional images of the Vivo V5 and Vivo V5 Plus have leaked. From what we can see, it appears that both the base model and the premium variant will feature a 20MP Perfect Selfie camera in front with a 13MP Moonlight Camera in back. The Vivo V5 carries a 5.5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. A Snapdragon 652 SoC powers the device with an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 510 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of internal storage. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage.

Keeping the gerbil wheel spinning is a 3000mAh battery, and Funtouch OS 2.6 is pre-installed. The OS is based on Android 6.0. The V5 is 7.55mm thin and the phone weighs in at 154 grams. The handset will be available in Gold and Rose Gold.

The Vivo V5 is expected to become official this coming week, priced at the equivalent of $296 USD. We also expect Vivo to unveil the X9 and X9 Plus at the same time. Both of those models will come with a dual 20MP front-facing selfie shooter. The X9 Plus will be equipped with a dual camera setup in the back.
