The iPhone 3G has it. So do the BlackBerry Storm, the Samsung Instinct and even the LG Voyager offers it. What is it that all of these phones have? Visual Voicemail, and if the screen shot of the latest OS for the BlackBerry Bold is for real, now that RIM model will have it as well. For those of you who do not know what VVM does, it basically is a list of the phone
numbers of those whom left you a voicemail message, in chronological order. Having this service allows you to pick and choose which messages to listen to, in the order that you want to hear them. And unlike regular voicemail, you can choose not to listen to certain messages even if you want to check on one that came in afterward. For some models, the service is included in the monthly data charges. Other carriers offer it as an extra application that requires a monthly service charge. While there is also no word on pricing, AT&T offers the service on
the iPhone 3G with the price already included in the data plan. The OS of the Bold that shows this service is 220.127.116.11. The phone's exclusive U.S. carrier, AT&T, has not yet officially confirmed that Visual Voicemail is available for the model, but sources say that confirmation could be soon.
