Vine app for iOS updated with iPhone 6 (and 6 Plus) enhancements
Vine today updated its iOS app to version 3.0.0, making it "look great" on Apple’s brand new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus - both of which have displays larger than any other previously released iPhone.
The updated Vine app also brings an iOS 8 share extension, which should make it a breeze to share videos from the camera roll, and even from other video apps. Another novelty is a "+" button that lets you follow Vine channels - thus receiving select posts in your home feed. As you may already know, the Vine app for iOS is free. You can get the latest version from iTunes at the source link below.
Founded in 2012, Vine was acquired by Twitter later that year - before officially launching its app in early 2013. Currently available on all three major mobile platforms (Android, iOS, and Windows Phone), Vine quickly became wildly popular. The service allows users to take very short videos with their smartphone camera, and share them either via Vine’s own network, or via Twitter, Facebook, and other social networks.
