Vimeo outs an official app for Windows Phone, artsy video projects commence
Vimeo, the creative crowd's YouTube, might be light on cats falling off TVs and neighborhood pranks videos, but is a treasure trove of short documentaries, time lapse videos, roadtrip adventures, and more artsy clips in general.

Now the video website has compiled an official application for those carrying Windows Mobile handsets, easing the transition from the Wild YouTube West to the more curated content on Vimeo.

With the official Vimeo app, besides an easier interface for video playback, comments and Channels browsing, you can also manage your Vimeo account, upload videos and even pause and resume those uploads at will. Here's the full list of features:

• Watch and manage all your existing Vimeo videos
• Watch videos from your Vimeo inbox, Watch Later queue, or videos you have liked
• Easily like, comment on, and add videos to your Watch Later queue
• Discover new and fascinating featured videos
• Quickly search for videos on Vimeo
• Easily upload your footage in HD
• Pause and resume uploads
• Replace existing videos
• Edit titles, descriptions, tags, privacy settings, and credits
• Share via Facebook, Twitter, email, or SMS
• Add videos to your Groups, Channels, and Albums
• Get stats on plays, likes, and comments

You can download the Vimeo app from the Windows Phone Marketplace in the source link below.
