Looks like Verizon is going to be ready to launch its variant of the 16GB Samsung Galaxy S4 one week earlier than expected. Originally said by the nation's largest carrier to arrive on May 30th, Big Red has announced on Monday that it will now make the new flagship Android device available on May 23rd. Verizon is accepting pre-orders for the phone which is priced at $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a signed two-year pact. If you order online, shipping is free.

Verizon is trying to push some of the features on Samsung's latest Android flagship model, which is being released after AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have already released their version of the phone. Among the features pushed by Verizon includes Dual Shot which lets you use both the front and rear cameras at one time while taking a picture and WatchON which turns the phone into a television remote and TV Guide.

If you're a Verizon customer or planning to switch, you can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S4 by clicking on the sourcelink.
