Verizon ready to roll out new BlackBerry promotion?

On the heels of the new Back to School season, Verizon Wireless is planning on returning to a successful promotion-with a major change. According to a tipster over at IntoMobile, Big Red will allow you to buy any BlackBerry, including the recently launched Tour 9630, and get any item in the Verizon line-up that is the same or lesser cost. So if you buy a Tour, you can pick out another handset with the same price tag, or a PC card, or even a netbook as long as the price is equal or lesser to the Tour's price tag. The promotion is expected to run until October 10th. If you've been desiring that Tour or Storm or any other 'Berry that Verizon offers, it might behoove you to sit and wait for this offer to start. And as the kids know, with school season just around the corner, this promotion should begin anytime now.
