Verizon's deal takes the Samsung Galaxy A50 down to $10 per month
Some of the models that belong to Samsung's hot-selling mid-range Galaxy A line are coming to the U.S. The Galaxy A10e, the Galaxy A20 and the Galaxy A50 are all expected to be available from major U.S. carriers this year. Right now, the Galaxy A50 can be purchased from Verizon for only $10 a month. Here's how this works. The phone must be purchased on Verizon's Device Payment plan with a new line of service. This means that both new and existing subscribers can take advantage of the deal. The handset is priced at $349.99 or 24 monthly payments of $14.58 a month. But with the deal, $109.09 is divided into 24 monthly bill credits of $4.58 a month; that means you'll be paying $10 a month over 24 months for the Galaxy A50.

The phone carries a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Exynos 9610 chipset is under the hood along with 4GB of memory and 64GB of expandable storage. There is a triple-camera setup on the back (25MP Primary, 8MP Ultra-wide, and 5MP Depth sensor) and in front, a 25MP front-facing selfie snapper. The AI-based Scene Optimizer recognizes 20 different scenes and automatically adjusts the camera settings accordingly. There is an in-screen fingerprint scanner and the device is equipped with a 4000mAh battery. A 25W fast charger comes in the box to quickly get the phone powered up for use. The only color available is Black, and Android 9 Pie is pre-installed.

Sprint has a slightly different deal that allows its subscribers to lease the Galaxy A50 for $10 a month over 18-months. Once that time period expires, the phone can be returned and the consumer has the option of walking away from Sprint. Or, the subscriber can turn in the phone and lease a new model. If the customer wants to buy the phone instead, the Galaxy A50 can be purchased for six monthly payments of $14.59.

The Galaxy A series features phones with viable cameras and large batteries, and the Galaxy A50 is no exception. Even better, the handset offers near flagship specs for a mid-range price.
