Verizon attacks texters with the LG Cosmos VN250 on March 25
Last week we were the first to report that Verizon would release a new handset on March 25, namely the side-sliding LG Cosmos VN250. We have received another confirmation for this, but we also managed to find out more details about the functionality of the device. The LG Cosmos VN250 is an affordable solution for heavy texters on a tight budget that is quite similar in both overall specifications and design to the Samsung Intensity U450 – full hardware QWERTY keyboard, 1X (non-EVDO), 2” QVGA display, 1.3MP camera that allows for immediate Facebook uploads of all snapshots, 2.5mm jack, Bing search and microSD expansion slot (max 16GB cards).

There is still no information on the pricing, but judging from the price tag of the Intensity, it seems logical that Verizon will offer the LG Cosmos VN250 for about $50 on a two-year contract. Sounds fair, right?

Thanks to our noble anonymous tipster!
