Apple promotes online use of Apple Pay with a $5 gift card offer that starts today
Just in time for last minute holiday shopping, Apple is running a promotion that starts today and runs through December 21st. Use Apple Pay at one of 20 select online retailers during the promotion period, and you'll receive a $5 gift card that can be used with a purchase from the App Store, or from iTunes. You are limited to one gift card for each of the online retailers you shop online with, using Apple Pay.
According to Apple' website detailing the promotion, each of the retailers might have a different minimum purchase requirement. The online retailers who are partnering with Apple include:

- Abercrombie and Fitch
- Bonobos
- Cole Haan
- eBags
- Express
- Fanatics
- Fancy
- Hayneedle
- JCPenny
- Jet
- Kenneth Cole
- Kiehl’s
- Macy’s
- Reef
- Stockpile
- Tumi
- Warby Parker
- Wayfair
- Wish
If you still need to finish your holiday shopping, use Apple Pay at the aforementioned online retailers and you can use each $5 gift card you receive to help you pay for a paid app or for some streaming content from iTunes. And there is no rule that says you can't keep for yourself anything you buy using the gift cards that you receive with this promotion.
