Update bringing multi-window to Verizon's Samsung Galaxy S III pushing out now
Verizon customers with the Samsung Galaxy S III should be ecstatic to hear that an update for their phone is being pushed out right now by Verizon. At 129.1MB, this is no featherweight of an update either as it includes a ton of new features. Multitaskers will be happy to see that their phone will offer multi-screen and multi-window, which will allow you to use two apps side-by-side. When buying an app from the Google Play Store, you will now be able to have the cost of the app added to your Verizon monthly invoice. And the camera will offer you the opportunity to select the best  group picture from among five burst shots with "Best Shot".

The update also brings "Paper Artist" to the handset. This allows you to turn a photograph into a pencil sketch and then enhance it using tools on the phone. In addition, the Caller ID app has been revised and Flipboard is now pre-installed on the phone.

The changelist is long and you can check it out by looking at the image below. We should point out that the update takes 5 to 8 minutes to download and another 5 to 8 minutes to install. If you're like others, the installation process will probably feel like the longest 480 seconds of your life. The update is coming OTA, so be patient because not everyone will receive it today, tomorrow or even the next day.
