US Cellular reveals the specs of the HTC Desire to clear up the confusion
We're pretty confident that the tech savy community can surely differentiate the HTC Droid Eris from the HTC Desire, but for the rest of the people out there not in tune with the times, there is a confusion surrounding it. Apparently there are just some US Cellular customers who are confused between the two Android powered smartphones – so US Cellular went straight to their Facebook page and posted some of the specs of the HTC Desire. Hopefully things are cleared up with this as they state on their Facebook page, “Hungry for more Android info? How about a peek at some specs for the gorgeous HTC Desire including a 3.7″ AMOLED touchscreen display, 5 MP camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, GPS, Android Market and an 8 GB microSD card. How about news of a launch date around July? We’ll need to make sure our rigorous testing is complete before you can get your hands on this sweet phone. Stay tuned here for more exclusive Android updates!” With an estimated release date some time in July, the summer will surely be hot for US Cellular customers – but let's hope the HTC Droid Eris will simply become a faded memory as the HTC Desire finally arrives. No word yet on an exact pricing, but we'd imagine it'll follow closely to what we see with the HTC Droid Incredible and Nexus One.
