Biggest Twitter update in latest years brings new camera and geo feature
While everyone was expecting Twitter to launch a separate app just for testing, the social giant announced a major update is coming to Android and iOS devices as we speak. Twitter hasn't really detailed the changes included in the update, but it did offer information about what users should expect.

First off, this update is all about photos and videos. Twitter said that it's updating the camera to make it easier and faster to capture and share media content. Apparently, you'll be able to capture and share photos and videos “with a swipe and a few taps right from your Home timeline.”

Also, the update brings a new media-forward layout and there's a new feature implemented that will automatically suggest hashtags based on your location. Engadget reports that the new geo feature will only work with US sports games and other major events initially, but Twitter claims it will expand on that in the future.

These changes will be rolled out to Android and iOS users over the next few days, so if you don't see the new camera yet, be patient. Also, don't try to use the new geo feature if you're not located in the US, at least for the time being.
