Tomorrow is Apple iPad release day for Verizon
Earlier this month we were a bit surprised to hear that Verizon was going to be selling the Apple iPad later in October. Tomorrow, your wait is up, as you will be able to purchase the iPad at any Verizon Wireless store, or through the Verizon web site, but there will be a several options available for you to choose from. First off, Verizon would prefer you to buy the iPad bundled along with their MiFi 2200 mobile hotspot, that will connect the iPad to Verizon's EVDO Rev A network. This combo-pack will set you back $629.99 for the 16GB memory version, $729.99 for the 32GB, and $829.99 for the 64GB. You'll also have to get a data plan for use with the MiFi 2200, which ranges from 1GB of monthly data for $20, 3GB for $35, 5GB for $50, and 10GB for $80. Of course, if you want to just purchase the iPad without the MiFi 2200 and data plans, you can do that too for $499.99 for 16GB memory version, $599.99 for 32GB, and $699.99 for the 64GB version. Even though Verizon will not be combining the iPad along with the new Fivespot Global hotspot, you can use it with it, but will have to purchase the Fivespot separately, along with a data plan.
