Today only, B&H is selling the Sony Xperia Z3 and the Xperia C5 Ultra at notable discounts

B&H is currently selling the Sony Xperia Z3 and the Xperia C5 Ultra at significant discounts. Sony smartphones have failed to raise customer interest in the US smartphone market, but given the low prices, some of you might want to reconsider their feelings towards these two phones.

As part of today's promotion, B&H is selling the Sony Xperia Z3 at a price of just $249.99. Usually, the handset is (over)priced at $449.99. Now, the Sony Xperia Z3 may not be a current-generation flagship smartphone anymore, but it still offers a lot of value at $250.

The Sony Xperia Z3, a handset that launched all the way back in September 2014, comes with hardware specs that include a 5.2-inch display running at 1080 by 1920 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, as well as a 20.7MP primary shooter on the back.

In the other corner, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra isn't as powerful as the Xperia Z3 but it's also much cheaper. At the moment, B&H is selling the C5 Ultra at a price of $180, down from the handset's usual price of $349.99. If you're looking for a gargantuan phone that doesn't break the bank, then the C5 Ultra is definitely a worthy solution, especially at this discounted price.

The main highlight of the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is its 6-inch display running a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. On the inside, however, the hardware is a notably toned down compared to what the Xperia Z3 has to offer. The specs include a Mediatek MT6752 chipset with a 1.7GHz octa-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of integrated storage space, as well as a 13MP primary camera.

Both of these deals are for unlocked units that will work just fine with GSM carriers such as T-Mobile or AT&T in the US. These prices also include free shipping.

If this deal seems tempting, make sure to act fast; the offer is only valid until the end of the day, which only gives you several hours to place a purchase.

Even at the 250$ the Xperia z3 isn't worth it, I have one and battery life is horrendous and heats up badly.

you may just never use your phone, I use it on the daily to check snapchat instagram emails and do some uber jobs, but it drains to 30% by mid day from a full charge that morning.

Battery life on the Z3 was easily the best I ever had. 6 and sometimes 7 hours of screen on time. I didn't know how good that was until I upgraded.

I guess I've grown spoiled with my previous 5,000mah battery phone. I'm right now at 68% and have only used it for 3 hours since I unplugged it.

It's 1080p most of the time, it's only 4k when watching supported videos and viewing 4k pictures. Now that I have said that, do you like it? Go write a review on it so i can read it lol.

Well even though the render is 1080, the pixel count is still 4k. And that matters for VR. For anything else though, 1440p screen is overkill, 1080p is still as sharp as it is.

I would buy the Z3 in a heartbeat and then I just remember the camera experience and come back to my senses.
