The Samsung Monte S5620 – similar to the S5600, but with Wi-Fi?
Rumors about a still unannounced handset by Samsung – the S5620, codenamed the Monte, have surfaced on the Internet. As of today, the only evidence relating to its existence that actually counts is a Wi-Fi certificate and relevant firmware. They seem to indicate that the new device will be equipped with Qualcomm processor and feature Wi-Fi support. We´re guessing the handset will be similar to the Samsung Preston S5600 – a mainstream, feature phone with touch-sensitive screen that will probably come with 3G functionality and roll out in Europe and Asia. Certainly, we absolutely do not mind if the manufacturer decides to surprise us and equip the handset with their new operating system bada.

We hope we get to see pictures of the Samsung Monte S5620 soon, plus the device might get officially introduced at MWC in February 2010.
