If you're looking for a cheap tablet for the kids, or to give as a gift for the holidays, Walmart might have the slate you are seeking. It is not be a new tablet, and it contains some dated specs, but the discount retailer is selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0 for only $65. That is a 45% discount from the device's usual price of $119, and is a special holiday deal.
The tablet features a 7-inch LCD screen carrying a 600 x 1024 resolution. A quad-core 1.3GHz CPU is under the hood, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native, expandable storage. Those seeking additional storage can use the 32GB capacity microSD slot. A single 2MP camera adorns the slate, which is powered by a 3600mAh battery. Android 4.4 KitKat is pre-installed.
