Speculation rises about new LG phone for Verizon
Let's say you walk into a Verizon store and you love that new LG touchscreen model but not having a physical QWERTY keyboard is a dealbreaker. Well, if all of the talk is correct, you will be able to buy a plug in keyboard made specifically for that phone. There is speculation that LG has been cooking up a modular device for Big Red. The basic handset would include a 3 inch touchscreen with GPS, a music and video player, a 2MP camera and a full web browser. Besides a physical keypad, additional modules for sale could include speakers, an internet application including Wi-Fi, and a plug-in for games. The speculation is that this device is the VX9600 which is a phone model that the FCC has already been made aware of. Rumors indicated that LG is ready to announce it, and so we hope we will see it at CES 2009.

What kind of extra module would you want for a phone?
