Skype will be showing the love to some of Verizon's feature phones
Skype has been flying high on the radar of late, especially when Qik is making its presence on the HTC EVO 4G, but some new revelations are being made that comes out of their partnership with Verizon. Big Red will soon see a big push for the popular service to make its way onto additional smartphones, but the more surprising news can be found as they've also announced that it would come to some 3G enabled feature phones as well. Smartphones can do almost anything when you play around with them while feature phones are a bit more reserved, but now that Skype is looking to show its love, owning a feature phone may not be too bad at all – especially when some of them rival even the most basic smartphones out there. On top of that, there will be additional support for Spanish, Korean, and simple Chinese while at the same time, it'll be getting a slight makeover that offers an enhanced user interface which will make international dialing a breeze and will be filled with drop-down menus. As much as other handsets and carriers would like to see a similar treatment, Skype's focus would naturally be on Verizon first before anything else.
