Skype-to-Skype free calling on the iPhone has been extended until the end of 2010
Naturally there was a thunderous applause echoing in the minds of Apple iPhone owners as Skype-to-Skype calling over 3G on the iPhone was finally being made available for free. Unfortunately the adulation was somewhat marred by the notion that it would remain free until the end of August – which was looked upon as being a bummer for the end of summer. However, some of that adulation can slowly recede back to users now that it look as though the people over at Skype delayed the notion of charging for the service until the end of the year. Still, it makes you wonder if Skype will make this move consistent throughout all platforms. Even though the news is somewhat bearable, Skype has yet to go on the record for the sudden change in heart. In the mean time though, users better start taking advantage of this feature before the year is up.
