It's not the most exciting 10 seconds of footage you have seen, but it is giving us something to look at. Designer and smartphone information leaker Benjamin Geskin published a video of him fondling a 'dummy unit' of the next iPhone.
A dummy is just a dummy – a lifeless mockup of a design that, in this case, may or may not be the real thing. It certainly looks credible and lovingly shiny, though, while the supposed stainless steel frame seems sturdy as ever. The vertical dual camera setup on the back is also present, quite likely to be an actual characteristic of the upcoming iPhone.
Alas, the dummy doesn't let us have a good look at the screen. We would really like to see how thin those bezels are really going to be. Another point of bewilderment is whether Apple will be pushing solid color designs like this one, or is also going to honor the original 2007 iPhone by giving the new ones a two-tone back. It could do actually do both, it's going to be interesting.
