Separate app brings an equalizer to the Sony Ericsson Vivaz & Satio

Call it somewhat hard to believe, but the Sony Ericsson Satio and Vivaz clearly lacks any equalizer settings to fine tune music playback on either devices. Fortunately though, there is now a free application available that brings forth some much needed tones to music being played with the “Equalizer” app that's available for download through PlayNow. Instead of being integrated directly into the music player, it's actually a separate app that will be required to be launched in order for the equalizer options to pop up. Satio owners are required to have all the latest updates in order for it to work properly on their handset. The new “Equalizer” offers users a tasteful mix of options for individual musical needs – it offers Off, Classical, Jazz, Dance, Party, Pop, Rock, Spoken Word, Loudness, Mega Bass and Treble Boost. Even though it is clearly missing from the onset, it's nice to see the two multimedia oriented devices get some attention in making music sound a bit better on the handsets.
