Screenshots of T-Mobile's new Android app surface?
At the beginning of this month, we passed along some information from various Reddit users claiming to be T-Mobile employees. According to these alleged insiders, the carrier was going to launch a new app for both its iOS and Android customers on December 10th. That date came and went without the arrival of a new app. On the other hand, thanks to one of those Reddit posters, we now have screenshots that claim to show off the Android version of the app running on an LG Stylo.

As you might expect, the color scheme is 'Modern T-Mobile' all the way with black text on a white background, and white text on a magenta background. You can view your current invoice and pay it from the app, check your data usage for the month, and upgrade your service all without having to speak to a live rep.

Other services offered include the ability to monitor your EIP, make a payment to cover that bill, and get an overview of your T-Mobile plan. The app will even perform a series of tests to check on the health of your handset, and give you recommendations on how to fix any issues.

As we noted, there will be another variant of the app offered to T-Mobile subscribers sporting an iPhone. So far, there is no word from T-Mobile as to when the app will be launched for either platform.
