Samsung with more than 3 Android phones by the end of the year

We were very disappointed by the news that Samsung will not show its first Android phone at the MWC 2009, and that it will hit the market in the second half of the year. A  Reuters interview with Won-Pyo Hong, head of product strategy of the Korean giant, made us really glad. In it, the official reveals that more than three Android devices are expected by the end of the year, as well as a device, based on the Linux operating system, which is developed by the LiMo foundation. Obviously, the world’s second largest cell phone manufacturer is going to check how people take open-source operating systems. The other good news is that these upcoming Android phones will hit markets both in Europe and the U.S.
