Samsung trademarks the names Joy and Fresh with the USPTO
Make of it what you will, but Samsung has filed trademarks for the names Samsung Joy and Samsung Fresh with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, under the category encompassing "telephones; smart phones; mobile phones; computer software for mobile phones, portable media players and handheld computers."

These names often end up titles of upcoming gear from the manufacturers, like the "Infuse" trademark late 2010, which ended up naming a handset for AT&T, the Samsung Infuse 4G, or the more recent "Exhilarate" filing from the Koreans, which ended up in the aptly named Samsung Exhilarate.

We can only speculate if and what the names Joy and Fresh might end up titling, but they sound light-hearted enough, and the eventual gadgets they will represent might clear up at the Mobile World Congress expo in Barcelona next month.
