Samsung prepping a 12-inch Windows 10 tablet?
Remember that recent graph that claimed to show the Geekbench 3 scores of several next-generation chipsets? The same source has posted on his Weibo account, information related to a new 12-inch tablet allegedly being worked on by Samsung. The kicker here is that the large screened slate would not be powered by Android. Instead, the tablet would run on Windows 10 and would presumably be a competitor to the Surface Pro 4 expected to be unveiled this fall by Microsoft.

The slate would carry a 12-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 or 3840×2400. A 14nm Intel Core M chip would be under the hood with 4GB of RAM inside. The tablet would come with an S Pen, so you might see the device offer some of the same capabilities found on the Samsung Galaxy Note5.

The rumored 12-inch Windows 10 tablet would be thin at 6.2mm, and will supposedly weigh 600 grams. There is no word on when we might expect this tablet to see the light of day, if it ever does.

Thanks for the tip!
