Samsung announces Learning Hub, coming soon to Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 LTE
Okay, the following does not necessarily mean that Samsung planning on going toe to toe against Apple with an interactive learning experience of its own, but it is probably a good start. Samsung just took the veil off of its Learning Hub, which is to provide educational content, such as digital textbooks and video lectures, and at least some of it is expected to be free of charge.

The first devices that the Learning Hub will be made available on are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, while other devices are expected to follow soon. At launch, the Learning Hub will offer about 6,000 textbooks and videos from 30 content publishers, as well as multimedia tools for teaching and note taking.

However, there is something that we need to point out. The announcement of the Learning Hub comes from Samsung Korea, and the content that we see in the screenshots is in Korean. That being said, it is not exactly clear whether the Learning Hub will be available outside of Korea. Still, we will know the answer to that pretty soon as the Learning Hub will be demonstrated at MWC 2012 next week.
