Samsung announces Freeform for Alltel Wireless
Samsung today announced the Freeform for Alltel Wireless. The bar shaped device offers a 2.2 inch display with a four row QWERTY keyboard. Threaded text messaging is one of the handset's features and there is support for Stereo Bluetooth, 1.3MP camera, web browsing, GPS using Alltel navigation, voice recognition, and memory expansion up to 16GB. Using the Alltel Shop, ringtones and wallpaper options are available to the Freeform's user. The phone is available now at Alltel stores or online at www.shopalltel.com. Pricing was not disclosed. The phone can be bought in either Teal or Burgundy. The Freeform for Alltel (SCH-r351) is a carrier version of the unlocked model (SCH-r350).
