Samsung SM-Z9005 Tizen phone put for sale on eBay, first photos emerge
Images of what is claimed to be one of Samsung's upcoming Tizen handsets have emerged when the SM-Z9005 phone appeared for sale on eBay, of all places. Someone jumped the gun prematurely, it seems, as the listing has been taken off, but the two pictures have been scooped up, and the styling jibes with the render of the Z9000 "Zeke" that we saw leaked not long ago.

Frankly, the alleged Tizen handset doesn't differ much from the typical Samsung style of phone-building, but we'll wait for the official unveiling on February 23rd, before we pass any opinions on the design. The important thing on it is the operating system, of course, though seeing how important backers like Intel are hesitant to pour resources in it, Samsung might have an uphill battle to fire up the platform basically on its own.

Oh noooo! That's an ugly-mugly bezel. And i hope that they didn't mean those trapezoid shapes, like this accent around camera lens, when they said "back to basics" for the design of the S5

What's that white rim around the phone. That's ugly, remove that at once under order of the jedii.

Agree dj, it would be nicer if the phone was only the black part (a little Nexus 5 style)

It's the nest part of the box that your phone sits on that is on top of all of the accessories that come with the phone. The white is not part of the phone.

Disagree. S4 looks better than the S3, and Note 3 is miles ahead of the Note 2.

Agreed. I wasn't a huge fan of the camera housing in the note 3, but it grew on me.

I'm still not a fan of the camera housing on the note 3 :/ I'm trying to like it, but it's not growing on me. The iPhone, Xperia Z1, Lumia 920, and the HTC One all have nice camera designs that are flushed to the surface of the rear of the phone.

True, they definitely coulda chose a better housing. Overall it's a nice looking phone though. I'd say 1. HTC One 2. iPhone 5s 3. HTC 8X 4. note 3 5. LG Optimus pro.

I agree, aside from the camera housing, I don't complain even about other Samsung phones with regular plastic backs. The faux-leather stitching design is quite nice! That is a nice list. I'll try to see if I can come up with one from the top of my head.. - Sony Xperia Z1/Z1S/Z1 Compact (black & white) - iPhone 5S (all colors) - LG Optimus G (AT&T version) - LG Prada 3.0 - LG Nexus 4 (black & white) I would also include the blackberry bold 9900/9930 as I simply drooled over that phone for a few years lol. I don't know if I can put them in any sort of order because I love them all so much!

I agree about the blackberry. I absolutely love the new one with the qwerty keyboard. Super nice.

Something tells me that this phone is developers-only, and maybe that's whay it is so ugly. Spidey senses tingling.
