Samsung Galaxy View 2 coming to AT&T on April 26, priced higher than the original
It's quite clear that AT&T plans to launch a sequel to the huge Samsung Galaxy View tablet, but no details about its availability and price have been announced yet. Earlier this week, AT&T published a promo video that shows some of the most important selling points of the Galaxy View 2, but that was just about it.

Fortunately for those who can't wait to get their hands on the Android tablet, the folks at Droid-life have learned that AT&T will launch the Samsung Galaxy View 2 on April 26. As far as the pricing goes, the Galaxy View 2 will be more expensive than the original model, but that's because you'll also get better specs.

The tablet will be available through AT&T Next for $37/month for 20 month, which means you'll be able to get it for $740 outright if you don't want to pay monthly. We also have a the complete list of specs and it's a bit disappointing that the Galaxy View 2 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo instead of the new Android 9.0 Pie OS.

Also, the Galaxy View 2 is equipped with a Samsung Exynos 7884 processor, coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage (up to 400GB). There's also a 5-megapixel front facing camera for video calls, a large 17.3-inch display, as well as a massive 12,000 mAh battery.

That’s a huge tablet and actually way too big, just the screen is way bigger than the entire 12.9 iPad pros wow lol And biggest point of such a large screen would be for multitasking but that’s not gonna be well done with only a 1080p res and only 3gb of ram Androids typically need twice that or more for good multitasking

i have the original galaxy view and never once used it for multitasking...used mainly as a media device (youtube, netflix, hulu, directv now, amazon prime videos, etc...ive had it when it first came out and am still using it...still looks brand new and still performs now as it did from day one. just didnt like the price back then, and still dont like the price of version 2...499$ price feels right, not 700$+

I bought a brand new MSI 17" laptop with a gtx 1060, 120hz display, i7700 HQ, 16gb of RAM, a 230gb ssd and a 2TB HD and only paid $1200. You want people to pay $740 for that POS? These executives that come up with these prices are out of their minds.
