Samsung Fascinate shows up again in Verizon's computer system
Once the Samsung Fascinate is launched by Verizon, each of the top 4 U.S. carriers will have its own version of the Samsung Galaxy S in customers hands. Each model has basically the same specs with some minor changes here and there to accommodate each mobile operator. For example, Sprint's variant is the Epic 4G which is a version of the Galaxy S Pro that offers a landscape sliding QWERTY keyboard.

As for Big Red's pending launch, a photograph of the carrier's inventory system shows the Samsung i500 Fascinate being released with Android 2.1 (Eclair). We previously reported that an early September launch date seemed likely and speculation now centers on September 9th as being that date. As far as pricing goes, we would expect the Fascinate to cost the same $199.99 with a 2 year contract that most of the other high end Android phones have been priced at.
