Rumor says the Galaxy S6 edge+ will have a superhero edition, too. Oh, that guy?

Samsung has had a partnership with Marvel for a while now – the smartphone manufacturer made a lot of the gadget props for the Avengers movie and in return, Marvel didn't shy away from flashing the Samsung logo in a few frames. Later, the idea of Penvatars was flung around – Avengers-themed smileys that act as pointers for the S Pen. And ultimately, we saw the super-sleek Iron Man limited edition of the Galaxy S6 edge.

Well, it seems that the partnership is not over yet. A new rumor coming from China claims that the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ will also have a limited superhero edition. This time around, however, it will not be themed after someone from the Avengers cast. Instead, it will have its color theme and back picture pay tribute to Ant Man.

Yes, probably the most surprising superhero to make it to the big screen in recent memory. If the rumor turns out to be true, some may wonder why Samsung picked that exact character. But then again, the color scheme will definitely look good on the curvy S6 edge+.

Being a certified BASF painter at one time (automotive) and a cell phone tinkerer I really want to take the back off of my Note 5 and do something cool.

Someone has done that already and made their back clear. Since you were once a painter, maybe you can do something cool if you replace your back.

Well if they cant keep the price the same, its gonna have low sales. I wanted the original one, but not for $1400. They must be out of their frikkin minds. No phone is worth over $800, even if it has diamonds all over it. Rocks have no value, they are given an artificial value, just like Marvel based on keeping the product limited. Without the limits in volume, it would be cheap.

LOL.. did you even read what you wrote? Rocks have no value, but are given a value? Um.. NO $hit. At one time Salt was more valuable than gold.. spices.. a whole host of "things" that we take for granted today. Why? Supply and Demand. Basic Economics bud - limit the supply of anything desirable and the price goes up. Diamonds are the price they are because they are rare. Marvel phones are expensive because... they are rare. The HUGE difference between your diamonds and the Marvel Phone is that Samusung has a choice to make an unlimited amount of that phone if they would like.. not the case with Diamonds, natural ones anyway.

Kind of ironic that they use Ant Man for a phablet size phone.
