Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man Limited Edition

Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man Limited Edition
After teasing it last week, Samsung today announced the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man Limited Edition, a very special Galaxy S6 edge designed in collaboration with Marvel.

The Iron Man-themed Galaxy smartphone is dressed in red and gold, has 64 GB of internal memory, and will be offered in a box containing a matching wireless charging pad. A clear cover that enhances its "exclusive design" is also included. You can check out the handset in the photos and video embedded below.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man Limited Edition will be launched on May 27 in South Korea, and next month in China and Hong Kong. The company didn't mention other markets, which might leave many Iron Man fans disappointed. The price of the S6 edge Iron Man Limited Edition wasn't unveiled, but it's probably higher than the price of a regular S6 edge 64 GB.

Samsung said nothing about an Iron Man edition of the Galaxy S6, which might mean that the curved S6 edge is the only one that's getting the superhero treatment.

Red/Gold is legit. I'd take this over the boring black and white.

Back ironman looks like he's raising eyebrows on first glance. They should just re-illustrate the front for the back design or used his side profile since people are going to change their wallpapers anyway. Put deadpool or batman's silhoutte and people will line up for it. Samsung's creative department should start reassessing their team.

How can you say that with your eyes wide open? Are you that blind from your hate fan boy? Or do you get a hard on from pretending to be different? Any objective person cannot say this device is "ugly" even with Samsung's ill adviced choice of placing that iron man face on the back it is a beautiful looking device.

it is very ugly. The colors are awful, the logo on the back doesn't look good, and that Avengers UI.....smh If you're really into the Avengers (I mean really into them) or you like collecting nifty Avengers paraphernalia, then of course this phone would be perfect. But from an objective design standpoint, it is truly ugly indeed. Tacky as hell

If you've convinced yourself to get an S6, there are far better color options available. This version here, is ugly. The red color should have been slightly darker for starters. But hey, if you like it more power to you, we just have a difference in level of taste. My 14 year old self would have thought this phone was sexy too.

They expect the same response from the Americans that you see in the PA comment section. The "muricans" won't appreciate it, call them copiers, and then just buy an iPhone and put an ironman sticker on it anyways. Lol

This is just a troll comment and nothing more. However, this phone will sell well in China since it's red and gold.

Only the bottom of the S6 resembles the iPhone, the rest, nothing alike. Also, the iPhone 6 design is a copy of the Samsung Ativ S (bit.ly/1zLMjKj).

Haha agreed. Those itards are getting out of hand. It looks nothing like a iPhone. Even the bottom looks quite different from afar because it's a lot more rectangular than an iPhone 6 bottom. Of course the Samsung haters have already contradicted themsekves time and time again. Apparently the GS6 edge and GS6 are the same old Samsung look to some itards and an exact copy of the iPhone 6 to some others. Which would make the iPhone 6 look just like any other Samsung design. Lol morons.

You obviously have a point. The phone really doesn't draw much inspiration from the iPhone 6, but you completely missed the mark as far as the Ativ S is concerned.

Built-in battery, built-in memory tiers up to 128GB, Samsung Pay, antenna lines, glass sandwich, aluminum body, phone jack on bottom.. not saying that iPhone has these things exclusively, but the whole package screams: "need more sales - iPhones have more sales - must copy iPhone"... Dont get me wrong and one properly built android phone (finally), but they wanted Apple success again and the only way to do it is to copy Apple AGAIN!!! Just calling it like I see it...

Lol you are seeing it as itard. Besides Samsung pay that's just pretty much what everyone is doing. Following a trend is normal in the business world but the world doesn't revolve around Apple and they didn't start most of those trends.

If samsung is simply following a trend with their Samsung Pay, then why did all you Apple haters shout they were copying samsung when Apple released larger screened iPhones. They weren't copying samsung, they were following a trend, a trend that more and more ppl wanted bigger screens. When other OEMS released larger screened phones, there was no shouting of copying, only when Apple did. I could personally care less, as Im still gonna buy what my preference is, but if your gonna cry copying then be fair about it. They all have copied at some point.

Looking at the iPhone 6 and Ativ S, I seriously don't know where you ppl think it is a copy of the Ativ S cause it looks nothing like the Ativ. The iPhone 6 and GS6 resemble each other way more than the iPhone 6 and Ativ S.
