Rogers gets the Motorola Moto X in Canada as an exclusive

Rogers announced on Thursday that the Motorola Moto X will be available from the carrier starting next month as an exclusive in Canada. The device will be available in black or white at a price of $189.99 with a signed two-year contract. It is not a surprise that Rogers is offering the phone since it was a leaked version of a promo video from the Canadian operator that gave us our first chance to see the phone in action, including the twist of the wrist that opens the camera application.

Rogers is taking reservations for the phone although no specific launch date has been mentioned outside of the fact that the Motorola Moto X will arrive next month. And remember, those purchasing the phone directly from a carrier will not be able to customize their Moto X, so certainly keep that in mind.
