Report: Two new ZTE handsets are certified in China; ZTE Q509T features a 3900mAh battery
A report published on Sunday reveals that two new ZTE models have received certification in China by TENAA. This is the agency in China that is equivalent to the FCC in the states. The ZTE S2004 appears to be a flagship model, equipped with a 5.5-inch screen featuring a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Powering the phone is a quad-core 2.5GHz processor with 3GB of RAM inside.

The device is equipped with 16GB of non-expandable memory, which seems to be a questionable choice on the part of the manufacturer. There are cameras in back and in front, with the rear snapper weighing in at 8MP. Android 4.4.4 is pre-installed. This unit will be offered in black and white, and apparently does not offer 4G LTE connectivity.

The ZTE Q509T features a 5-inch screen with resolution of 480 x 854. A quad-core 1.3GHz processor drives the phone, which includes 512MB of RAM and 4GB of native storage. A 32GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional memory. A 5MP snapper adorns the back while a 2MP camera can be found on front. A massive 3900mAh battery keeps the phone powered for more than a day, and Android 4.4.4 is pre-installed. This model will also be offered in black and white.

Both models are said to be part of the manufacturer's Nubia series. You can check out images of both handsets by clicking on the slideshow below.
