Report: Coral Blue Galaxy S8 and S8+ coming to the US on July 13

An image of the Coral Blue Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ leaked online back in June, and we knew right away the smartphones would eventually make their debut in the United States.

Even though we still don't have any official information regarding their release, Droid-life has it from trusted sources that the Coral Blue Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available for purchase in the US on July 13.

Both flagships will hit the shelves at Best Buy, as the US retailer managed to score another exclusivity over a Samsung handset. According to the same source, Best Buy will sell the Coral Blue version of the smartphones for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.

Moreover, an unlocked Coral Blue version will be available for both smartphones. Obviously, the unlocked variant can be used on T-Mobile's network, if that's your favorite carrier.

In related news, Best Buy is rumored to run a promotion on the Galaxy S8 and S8+, which will be discounted by $250. The said deal consists of a $150 discount and an additional $100 via trade-in or another similar method. Customers should be able to buy these cheaper Galaxy S8 and S8+ handsets in the last week of July.

In terms of looks, the device is great. Too bad performance isn't. Samsung will convert a lot of customers once they resolve the lag issues.

They’ll covert me for this exact reason!! Also, owning previous Samsung phones was a burden. I’d be forced to upgrade phones because of faster than usual hardware degradation and no support for older models for the new OS’s released. Lag doesn’t need to be discussed; everyone knows this is an issue. Fix this and I’ll be going back to Samsung! Especially with that coral blue !!

Yup, Samsung is pretty terrible at supporting their devices. Hopefully we see improvement.

Well, they've already converted all the reviewers, most of whom proclaim the S8 the best phone available.

Lag lag lag lol. That's all he says about the S8 that he's doesn't use to actually know.

There are no "lag issues" to "resolve". They can "fix" it any time just like apple does... by default disabling animations and limiting memory usage. All android OEMs can. But they dont want to go that route. They'd rather give you the choice, like 3rd party launchers. Either pretty animations and features, or lightning quick phone. You can always do it yourself. Easy as 1, 2, 3. Even a caveman could do it. Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together should know how to do this. Adults dont normally need to be spoon fed. You don't know how to go into a phone's settings?

"You don't know how to go into a phone's settings?" Nah, dude only knows how to go into the comment box to bash Samsung phones. SMH

Don't be silly. There are plenty of lag issues for Samsung to fix, which are well documented over the web.

Dont be silly. Everything is "well documented" over the web. I can google "iphone 7 lag" and come up with 100 different articles of people complaining about lag on their iphone 7. Same for any other phone or computer or tv or anything running some sort of software scripts.

Galaxy S8 lags more than any current flagship on the market.

My Samsung Galaxy S7 edge lags alot more than my Sony Xperia Z3 from 2014. I put all animations on 0.5x on both phones. I disabled all features I don't need on my S7e. Also installing a new launcher doesn't help fixing the lag while navigating in settings for example. "You can always do it yourself. Easy as 1, 2, 3. Even a caveman could do it. Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together should know how to do this. Adults dont normally need to be spoon fed. You don't know how to go into a phone's settings?" You should get off your high horse.

I think it's awesome how you have multiple accounts to back yourself up with.

Samsung is not treating US customers as they should . I could care less about the color as long as there is dark and clear options , at the end we always put a case and the color become mostly invisible What Samsung should release is a phone with better specifications ROM AND RAM , etc and is not doing that , that is why sales are not as expected

Just bring that Emerald Green color to the Note 8 on release day.

Every Samsung article, Lumjerkoff is there talking about lag lol. Instead of hands on, he relies heavily on links to support his claims. It cracks me up. TW has been greatly refined, and the lag isn't there. The phones is buttery smooth with awesome battery life as well.

Sad but true... triggered is the perfect word I think... I feel that it’s best, generally speaking, that people should be unbiased instead of having their balls down an OEMs throat. Idk..
