Quick 15 second teaser for the LG G4 doesn't show whips but does show the leather
A 15-second Korean video teaser for the LG G4 promotes the leather back edition of the handset. LG's new flagship phone will be unveiled on April 28th at a media event in New York City. A huge leak earlier this month revealed a number of images showing the leather backed device along with images of the phone in metallic black, silk white, shine gold, burgundy red and moon violet.

The teaser shows how the "Genuine Leather" is cut and stitched for the LG G4, although we're pretty sure that this is not done by hand for each individual unit. The reason why the teaser shows April 29th as the unveiling date has to do with the difference in time between New York City and South Korea.

The LG G4 features a 5.5-inch LCD display carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution (QHD). That works out to a pixel density of 534ppi. The hexa-core Snapdragon 808 CPU will be under the hood with the Adreno 418 GPU crunching graphics. 3GB of RAM is onboard and a 3000mAh battery will keep the lights on. LG has already confirmed that the rear camera will be a 16MP snapper with an aperture of f/1.8 allowing it to take quality shots even under low light conditions. An 8MP camera will adorn the front of the unit.

are you vegetarian? if not, i hope you do not eat animal, because you don't want to see animal die for 5 minutes of good food. It's not like you kill animal just for the leather, you eat it's meat too. At least from cattle

Why? When you eat the animal (pig, sheep or cow), the skin is wasted if not used.

I don't really care about the leather back, but this is easily my most anticipated phone of the year (other than seeing what kind of craziness MS can produce with a Windows 10 flagship).

If only LG learns from the mistakes they made with the G3.

That material doesn't look good at all on the back of the phone. It almost feels foreign in my opinion. As for the LG G4 general design, it looks like a generic cookie cutter Chinese handset. I wish they would go back to the design blue of the LG G2, that looked good and have an air of "high-end" at the time.

Nothing premium about the LG G4 design/build. It's the iPhone 6 duo, Galaxy S6 duo, HTC One M9 and Huawei P8 that scream premium.
