LG G4 will feature a "groundbreaking" 16 MP rear camera, plus an 8 MP front-facing camera

Reportedly, the new camera module can receive 80% more light than the camera of the LG G3, which means the G4 should be able to take high quality photos in low light scenarios, as well as when capturing moving subjects.
Besides the 16 MP rear camera, "in response to the explosive growth of selfies," LG Innotek also developed an 8 MP front-facing camera for the G4. Using an "ultra-thin IR filter" to keep "infrared light from entering the camera lens", the new 8 MP front-facing shooter should give images "more natural and accurate colors."
To recap, the LG G4 will feature a 16 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front-facing camera, a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS display, and Android 5.0 Lollipop with LG's UX 4.0. Other features are yet to be confirmed. The G4 will be officially announced later this month, on April 28. Are you waiting for it?

- Display 5.5" 1440 x 2560 pixels
- Camera 16 MP / 8 MP front
- Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, Hexa-core, 1800 MHz
- Storage 32 GB + microSDXC

When do we find out the dimensions and if it has removable battery and SD? I'm getting sick and tired of the waiting for that info.

I'm sick of these companies thinking they can compete with Samsung. Samsung just delivered the world's best product. LG, go home, you're drunk.

And i am sick of people like you who hate on products that hasn't been announced yet. I am a Samsung fan, and i have no doubt about LG's ability to offer a flagship in the G4 that will match the S6 or even surpass it. The G3 with a better screen and a steadier performance would've easily taken the crown as the best smartphone for 2014. I am looking to get the S6 Edge, but i am not sure if i should get it now or wait for the G4's announcement.

"He's just painting Samsung fans a bad image" I'm glad you can acknowledge his behavior is ridiculous. Problem is you often say the exact same things in the same obnoxious manner. Maybe you shouldn't be calling people out. Just a suggestion

I didn't like lacking points of Sony, so I personally criticized it to express my own opinion. So what does it have to do with him painting Samsung fans a bad image? Don't trying to get off topic to explain how better you are.

For your info G3 camera now after lollipop update takes better photos than S5, Z3 and in some light condition better than note 4 and iPhone 6 I even compare it to S6 yes S6 better but not that noticeable different in low light condition. Don't understamte LG who knows might be LG going to be better than all Android phones in near feature.

Try it by yourself if don't believe. Note 4 oversharpense the scene, Z3 great camera but a lot of noise due to the small pixels ( more MP means small tiny pixels), S6 great camera but if you zoom the photo at low light still good but not as you think that great and it does has yellowish tinge.

My last three phones were Samsungs. While I have enjoyed the brand for keeping options that others were eliminating, I do not get emotionally attached to a brand. The S6 phones have fallen into a "Non-interest" product for me due to eliminating the options. For this, I await more info on this LG device because there is more to a phone than aesthetics and marketing. John B.
