If you consider yourself as a power use and plan on picking up the Verizon iPhone 4 tomorrow, then you may want to consider placing a pre-order for Mophie’s Juice Pack Air for the handset.
Needless to say that we adore the battery case accessory which provides protection and extra juice for the handset, but with the slightly moved vibrate switch on the Verizon iPhone 4, you won’t find existing Juice Pack Air units compatible with it. Instead, Mophie is offering pre-orders for a universal model that’ll accommodate both the original GSM version and Verizon’s specific one. Specifically, it now has a single cutout on the left edge where the volume buttons and vibrate switch are located – essentially fitting both versions of the handset.
Even though the $79.95 cost in getting a pre-order might not seem too bad for some, its ship date of February 28th means that you’ll have to live with the stock experience for some time.
