Pre-order the Oppo R7 Plus for $499
Oppo has started taking pre-orders for the Oppo R7 Plus at its Oppostyle online store. The phone is priced at $499, and starts shipping at the end of this month. The handset features a premium metallic build in a nice looking gold color, and is equipped with a Gorilla Glass 3 protected 6-inch, 1080 x 1920 resolution screen. That works out to a 377ppi pixel density. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 615 SoC, which includes a 64-bit octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. A fingerprint scanner is found on the back of the phone, under the camera and flash.

The Oppo R7 Plus includes 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of expandable internal memory. A 13MP camera adorns the back of the phone, and an 8MP snapper can be found on the front of the handset, ready to snap selfies and handle video chats. Keeping the generator humming is a generous 4100mAh battery, and Android 4.4 is pre-installed with the ColorOS 2.1 UI running on top.

The Oppo R7 Plus is 7.75mm thick and weighs 203 grams. It also offers 4G LTE connectivity. Inside the box, buyers will receive the phone, a VOOC Rapid Charger (5-minutes of charging can power a 2-hour call), microUSB cable and a SIM removal tool. And those who pre-order the handset will receive a free iLike Bluetooth in-ear headset.

whatever, i'll pick motoXstyle over this,, they should sell it on sub$300 price range, since their spec isnt that far from lenovo k3note, redmi 2 note, mi4c, or xiaomi M2 note.

Why is it priced higher than the moto X pure? When the X has much better specs...doesn't make sense...

$499 for something with 2 year old specs? These people must be crazy charging premium prices for an unknown brand with midrange specs.

Nice device, but you can get a lot better for a lot cheaper (Moto X Style/Pure/Play, Oneplus One, Nextbit Robin,etc....).
