Pokemon GO update adds new language support, minor improvements

3comments

Although Pokemon GO is not the phenomenon that it used to be six months ago, developer Niantic continues to update the game in the hopes that some of the players it lost will eventually come back and start playing again.

The most recent update is nothing to be impressed by, as it brings only minor improvements to the smash hit. The only new features added are language support for Traditional Chinese, as well as an updated Pokemon collection screen scroll bar.

Aside from that, Niantic mentions the update addresses various issues and fixes some minor text bugs. Depending on the platform you're playing the Pokemon GO game on, you might want to look for version 0.61.0 for Android and 1.31.0 for iOS devices.

It's also worth noting that developers haven't confirmed yet that the update has been pushed to App Store and Google Play, but Niantic did say that Pokemon GO is “in the process of being updated.”
