Well it looks like a relatively small time wireless provider in the US is getting treated to a handset that's sure to raise some eye brows with its focus on traveling. The Pharos Traveler 137 Windows Mobile powered smartphone is headed to Cincinnati Bell – you'd think that one of the four major domestic wireless carriers would've gobbled this one first. Luckily for customers on Cincinnati Bell, they'll get their chance to check out the award-winning features of the Pharos Traveler 137 with its integrated GPS and navigation software. This quad-band GSM smartphone features Windows Mobile 6.5, 480 x 800 touch screen display, 3-megapixel camera, and an FM radio tuner. Eric Bernard, Senior Manager Wireless Product and Supply Chain for Cincinnati Bell, said “We are constantly striving to bring the best technology to our wireless subscribers and excited to offer a 3G Windows Mobile Smartphone as advanced as the Pharos Traveler 137. Business customers in particular will find this device appealing. It offers a full suite of Windows applications, the new look and feel of Windows Mobile 6.5, and full 3G wireless network capabilities allowing for faster data connections when using the Cincinnati Bell Wireless network.”
Mint Mobile is now allowing you to get whichever plan you like for either three, six, or 12 months for just $15/mo. If you go for the six-month unlimited service, for instance, you'll now have to pay just $90 upfront instead of $210.
