Palm hires Nokia's former MeeGo head honcho Ari Jaaksi
Soon after we heard that HP was taking control of Palm, we began to slowly see an exodus of high level execs start to bail on the company and find work elsewhere. Similarly, we're again witnessing the same sort of thing when management shakeups began to occur over at Nokia's camp.

Palm's former vice president of design, Peter Skillman, was hired by Nokia back in September and filled in the position of their new VP of MeeGO user experience and services. Then most recently, Nokia's very own Ari Jaaksi decided to relinquish himself from his position as MeeGo's head honcho after the management shakeups started to occur.

However, it appears now that Ari Jaaksi is finding himself a place in Palm's heart since it's being reported that he will start in November as Palm's new senior VP of webOS, Naturally, with webOS 2.0 slated to come around soon and after seeing some shots rumored to be the Palm Pre 2, Jaaksi will prove to be an instrumental figure in getting the once relevant platform back into shape.

So it'll be truly intriguing to see what kind of magic Jaaksi has up his sleeves for webOS and Palm in general.
